How to submit observations in NSDB
This page is for the observers willing to feed the database.
You may enter your data in the database following the process described below:
All the information on the observing site, the reference frame, etc are given in the metadata file.
- date of the observation (mid-time of the exposure) in a time scale defined in the metadata,
- origin of the measures (ex: optical center on the image, a planet, a satellite, etc),
- target: observed object (if several objects observed at the same time, insert several inputs),
- coordinate 1 (X or separation, or right ascension or etc),
- coordinate 2 (Y or position angle or declination or etc),
Only one coordinate may be present in the record.
